I can not tell if this is one of the weeds that are harmfull to dogs like the ones that are talked about in the other post, the place where we hunt was plowed and replanted with crp seed and these plants are all over the field!! any help would be great!

Kinda hard to tell from the photo quality, but I would say that no, that is not one to consider potentially dangerous. Looks like simple foxtail to me form the picture.

I know the pic kind of blurred. The seeds are tiny, the seeds I have found in pics elsewhere seem to be longer like maybe 1/4" and have a Sharp end?? Does that sound right?? Thanks for the help!

If the seeds are small oval shaped there is no problem. Common foxtail

Foxtail barley is the one to avoid, but it doesn't grow in dense patches like Canadian wild rye. There can me a whole field of cwr
