Hey Tom.

Fishing last night was fantastic. My partner and I found the Crappies going nuts in 6-15 feet of water casting a marabou jig and letting it sink until they grabbed it.

A gentleman on shore was kind enough to inform us of his tally. He had been keeping track of how many fish we caught and released. Somewhere in the 200 range is what his eyes told him.

UJ...You're an animal! I was going to go yesterday morning with Mike from HOF, but we had some radical winds early on and it was only then that I might have been able to go....so I took a check on it. Oh..those craps are fun when they nail a falling jig. Few fish have the character of the crappie both in the water and on the table. Mork is going to take me away from the boat for a few days now, but when that is finished, the craps will be a high priority. Hope you have a good 4th and a safe one as well.....I think I see a fuse that needs lighting.........

Nice night last night.

Crappies in 9 ft of water on the one-thousand 7 count. C&R

Even got a bull gill touching the 11" mark. The big boy still swims to bite another day

Vamping up for tonights big Crappie bonanza.

Another good one last night.

Lots of good Crappies on the weed edge in 6-10 feet of water. Marabou jig was the way to go.
