Rum River State Forest

Anyone hunted grouse in Rum River State Forest with any luck?

yep, nope.

Drove through on opener and their was several folks with their dogs near the parking spots. Didn't see anyone holding any birds.

It has been a few years since I have grouse hunted RRSF, but I have had some luck in there in the past.

thanks. a buddy and i are going to give a shot at taking off a couple of hump days and making the drive from the north metro. maybe we'll try RR, maybe cruise to nemadji. we'll see.

Lots of Toyota's in the rum river, I drive through weekly.
