Lifetime Licenses

I am thinking about purchasing a lifetime fishing license but am wondering what happens if I move out of state. Would I still be covered even though I bought a resident lifetime license?

It's one of the main reasons that people buy a lifetime license, so it's cheaper if and when they move out of state and would therefore have to pay out-of-state rates.

If you buy the lifetime license and you're mid-life and planning to stay in state, it's about a wash as you'd likely do just as well if you invested that money and pulled out $20 each year (inflated) for your annual license.

I bought a lifetime combination sports license before moving to South Dakota for school and it has already paid for itself. Go for it and you won't regret it.

I love mine, but it is best to get one earlier as you save more in the long run.
