cartfan
I was up at Green Lake with my father on Monday and only caught 1 crappie and a few sunfish. We were using crappie minnows on a plain hook and they just weren't going for it. Anybody have any better luck on Green or any of the lakes in that area? CrappieJohn
Don't give up on it. You maybe were not in an area where crappies had moved into yet or were not preferring. Didn't say if you were on shore or in a boat...if you were afloat you should get a map and find the deeper sections of water with shallow water very nearby and concentrate on the transition areas between them. Could be such a thing that the lake just hasn't woken up yet...all bodies of water differ from one another. Give it a week and try again. cartfan
Thanks Crappie Tom. We were in a boat and fishing in water from 4ft to 20ft. There were alot of fish in 15ft of water that were suspended between 3 and 8 feet. But they weren't to interested in what we were offering them. We fished on the southeast corner of Green and just before you get into litte Green on the North end.
