Third Annual George Wahl Memorial Muskie Tournament Sept 24

The third annual George Wahl Memorial Muskie Tournament will be held Sept. 24 on 13 metro lakes. All proceeds from the tournament are used for the metro area muskie fishery. Entry is $50. I am almost certain the parkway around Lake Harriet is closed from something like 8am-noon that day for one of what seems like a hundred cancer benefit run/walks that are held in that area every year. Should'nt be a problem to get on the water by 7am but parking and leaving the lake before noon may be impossible.

I know of one local guide who just had a 54 and 51 in boat I think its going to be the best fish total yet for this event,,,how can ya beat it!!! fish, win prizes and all the cash goes for more muskies

Wish I coulda fished it! The trim and tilt went out in our boat though so we have to install a new throttle control and just didnt get around to it before the weekend. Looks like it was another success! Got out in the duck slough so that was nice but always love this tourney! Congrats to everyone who was there and had fun and caught fish
