Heading to Waubay this weekend. Haven't heard much lately - any reports?

I haven't been out there for quite a while now, but the last time I was there (about a month now), we were fishing off the points on the south end of the lake and the walleye had moved out to 18-21 feet of water. Spinner rigs or crankbaits were taking them. No real big ones...but an afternoon of fishing would get you a limit of 14"-16" fish.

And Lynn Lake has been hot as of late as well. Even if you can't get into the walleye, you should be able to find the nice perch that Lynn holds...

Sounds like Bitter has been good all summer. Was is a zoo out there?

Is the Day County Gestapo still writing trespassing tickets to guys fishing off of flooded roadways this summer, or has that quieted down?

In 8 years of fishing Lynn at least 5 times per year, Ive only seen 2 perch taken, and then this year I seen 10 in two trips. Crazy.

It took you two trips to see 10 perch? On Lynn, 10 perch is about two hours...

Just got back from NE Sd, the fishing was excellent- fished 4 different lakes and the fish were snapping- if you want some great action its time to go. Caught walleye, northern pike, smallmouth, perch, crappies and two stripped bass. jigging along with pulling cranks worked for us. Fished Swan, Horseshoe, Lynn and Bitter lakes.
