Clint won his heat and then qualified in the A Main for the SuperNational championship on Saturday on his first night for his second year in a row.

Now tomorrow, he will try to qualify again for the Rcae of Champion's race that he won last year.

Darn proud of him for getting it done the first night of qualifing.

How did Clint turn out this weekend???

Twice in the Big show Saturday, different cars spun out right in front of him and he slid to avoid the cars. He was blacked flagged for I guess spinning out to not hit the cars.

The announcer stated he could not figure out why Clint was blacked flagged but I believe the rules state that if there is a caution, any cars not moving are black flagged.

The others who spun out were not moving but they got to continue.

I have no idea what went down to be honest other than to say, that's racing.

Yes, there are 2 races left in Arlington this season.

One this Satyrday evening starting at 6pm and then another 1 week later. I am not sure on the starting time on the last one but it should be listed on the Arlington Raceway HSOforum.

You're right, there is always next season for Boone.

Last season Clint won the Race of Champions race and also finished I believe 6th in the Big Dance. I believe there was like 370 modifieds there trying to even qualify for that race.

Clint made in the last 2 years 3 of the 4 main shows and that in itself is huge.

Back next year to see how that will turn out.
