how to vent fish house

hi i have a homeade 4 x 8 fish house i just bought it used it had a wood stove in it i dont want it its shot. i have a chiminy pipe that goes straight up i plan to spear and angle in it can i buy something that would vent it yet wouldnt let light or snow rain in thanks

You could put 2 90 deg. elbows on it to make to hole point down like they do with the high efficency furnaces. You may get a little snow blowing in but not much and no rain.

Are you trying to vent a gas heater or just vent the inside of the house? I would assume since you said you didnt want any light geting in you want to vent the space, not a heater. I would suggest a roof vent or chimney cap or even the two elbows like mentioned above, then to help with the light issue paint the inside of all the pipe and fittings flat black.

I bought a couple of indirect vents off of e bay, they work great for my 8x10. I use a ventless blueflame but wanted to change the air in the hut anyway. One near the floor and one 6" down from the ceiling.
