I love to chase slabs and i live in the Brainerd area i was wondering if anybody on these sites ever get together i have a hard time finding anyone willing to go fish much unless u can step out of the truck 2 steps to an already heated fish house.

we are almost always getting together. check out any forum and in most of them there are get togethers going. one on bald eagle this saturday. there was one on upper hay lake, which i think is near brainerd. and i think one on phalen in the cities.

just ask on any lake and i am sure people would meet up and fish.

Try the Brainerd forum. I bet you could find a few people that would like to get out and do a little slab fishing.

whereaboots in the brainerd area do you live? I have a cabin just outside of crosby, that we get some nice slabs out of, maybe you could stop on by sometime when i am there during the summer.
