Keeping eurolarve and waxies alive

When you buy waxies at the local baitshop they are either next to the counter or in a refrigerator. Which is best to keep them alive the longest. I have done both and now I am keeping them in my garage but I want to buy a couple of those big tubs of em and I don't want to kill them all.

Eurolarve(maggots) are to be kept at 33-35 degrees. Waxies need to be keep at a cool room temp. Basements in the winter are best. They are kept on the counter in baits shops because they sell better and will usually sell that day.

Put the euro larvae in a air tight ziplock bag. Then put them inside a tupperware of some sort and keep them in the back of the fridge. I've kept euro larvae alive all year this way.

Good Fishin, Matt.
