Recording the Hunt

I was thinking of video taping my bear hunt this year and am looking for a decent but cheap HD Camcorder. It would be nice if I could hook it upto my Marcum VS625SD aslo. Anyone have any tips. Looking to keep it under $100 or would the video camera in my HTC Thunderbolt phone do the job?

My Kodak Playsport records in 1080HD and the video is great. Zoom is OK and it needs to stay steady at full zoom, but for a little over $100, it's a steal!

By the way, it's waterproof also.

I bought a canon fs10 that I got for around 150 and is great. It does HD recording, and has a 16gb built in flash drive and will also take SDHC cards. Another thing you need is a mount. Mounting a cell phone would be quite hard. Where the camera's have the threads.

I bought a gopro hero hd this year that I might try to use once or twice while hunting.They are waterproof, come with several different mounts. I bought the motorsports package and a 32G SD card. they sell the same camera with different mounts as packages. You can learn much more at their HSOforum if you do a search for them. They are not under $100, though.

I bought two epic cams early this year, it is pretty much the same as a go pro, It is a nice action camera but sucks as a hunting camera beacuse there is no zoom on the cameras and the lighting has to be pretty good, the audio is pretty good for the camera. I have been thinking about selling my epic cams but will decide later this year after the duck season.
