LOW or Lac Seul

I am wanting some in put on what Canada lake to fish next June.

I have been on both ends Lac Sel and I do have to say that I like the South part of the lake better.

So not ever fishing LOW, what part would you recommend that would compare to Lac Seul??

I guess you can say we are pretty spoiled when it comes to the walleyes on Lac Seul..with the number of fish and the quality of them also.

So any information given would be great...Keep in mind price and How easy it is to get to the resort...also how far we have to travel on the water to get nice fish. On Lac Seul we only had to run 15 minutes or so to get all the big fish we wanted.

If your main focus is Walleyes I think you would be better off sticking to Lac Seul...The walleye fishing can be good on the Woods, but if you are the "one week a year" guy you will probably do better on Lac Seul. The best areas I have seen on the lake are near the big water in the NW Angle and some of the stuff by Sunset channel and skeet..So you might want to look at some of the boat in camps like Witch Bay or Totem ( they are pricy), or stay in the Angle at a US camp and be prepared to do some driving.

Honestly I would rate LOTW third behind Lac Seul and Eagle Lake in terms of eyes...just my opinion but thats what the stats say in my boat...

LOW has gret walley fishing within 15 minutes from shore at a resonable price. Check out www.lakeofthewoodstourism.ca for some options.

I have been to Lac Seul a few times and would rather go there than LOW anytime. The only thing LOW has is its closer.

Were on Lac Seul for 7 days last week. The walleyes were hitting pretty good on a jig tipped with pepperoni sticks or strips of American cheese. Not so much on the red licorice. We had alot more crawlers though so we mostly used them.
