Boat shopping

Who'd a thunk it'd be so hard. I sold my 14 lund to get something a little bigger. Looking for a 16' rebel or similar used boat in the 3-4 grand range, tiller or console, I really have not made up my mind. 2 kids in college sure puts a damper on the budget Been scouting C-l i s t and have had a few leads, but nothing really jumped out yet. Still a fun process, but not much top choose from. Heck, I don't even know why I'm posting this..... just putting my thoughts down, of coarse, any leads are welcome.

Spread out your search range. Have the cash on hand so when a good deal pops up your ready to jump on it.

And have patience. Took me nearly a year to find the boat I wanted for the price I could afford.

And as pointed out, expand your search. I found mine in La Crosse. I searched the five state area almost daily.

Doing so you may find patterns of posts. Like I found the Mpls area posted most items on Mondays. So I searched in more detail on Monday nights and Tuesday mornings.
