herm
On latest vacation, when boat sat outside for a week in elements, I noticed my gauges developed substantial fog/condensation on the inside. (Had not noticed this - at least this much of it - previously. On fuel, I could barely see the needle.) While it went away as things dried out, it made me wonder if there is a way to prevent this. The boat is 10 years old and stored in garage most of time. Still, I am pretty sure use during cooler/wetter days/nights it will return - and not dissipate as quickly. Any (easy/inexpensive) solutions? Thanks in advance.
jeffreyd
can try to silicone behind the bezel however the seal sounds like it is worn out. one thing that does happen if you have a gauge that sits at a slight angle and you twist on it, it can break the seal between the seal and bezel.
