Born2Fish
Wow copy and paste much? I think you said the exact same thing in the McNabb thread. Did he do something to you personally?
RumRiverRat
Nope, Just pointing out the obvious flaws in the guy that all the Purple Kool Aide drinkers think will lead them to the Super Bowl. McNabb will be running for his life, for those of you that have not noticed McNabb does not run very well anymore. Sounds like a recipe for success! FISHINGURU
Who thinks McNub will win the Superbowl this year? I haven't heard anyone say that but you.
Born2Fish
+1 I have not heard a single mention of him leading the Vikings to the Superbowl. Just some hopeful people who pray he does well. Besides, purple kool aid is the BEST kool aid!
Steve Foss
Well, the green KoolAid is minty fresh, and it goes well on St. Patrick's Day, too. You can also pour it over the heads of Vikings fans to start bar fights. That makes it a valuable multifunctional drink.
RumRiverRat
The only team that sucks worse than the vikings are the packers.

SkunkedAgain
Most Viking fans that I've spoken with are realistic about McNabb. He's an end-of-his-career QB looking to play well with a team that has a shot at doing okay this season. Besides the usual crazies, it seems that most are realistic about the Viking's actual chances. Then again, hope and optimism are why we watch our teams even when expecting the worse. Who thought 2009 was going to be the season that it was, with a seemed-to-be washed up Brett Favre coming back from a biceps injury?McNabb will play fine and be a smooth transition into the Christian Ponder era. I would think that most Purple Horn tooters will agree that seeing Ponder start this year is a bad sign....it means that things went sour and McNabb was pulled in favor of a rookie. FISHINGURU
Not me, I don't hope for anyone to get injured or hurt but when McNub goes down about middle of season I hope Ponder steps in and we never have to look back.
broodwich
Ever notice when watching highlights from years gone by the Vikings are always on the bad side of the highlight? Or if someone is breaking records the Vikings are on the wrong side, allowing that player/team to get the record? Or if there is a program about NFL follies the Vikings are featured the most? It's hilarious watching the NFL Network when they have those types of shows on. Yep, there's the Vikings...and again...and again. Or if they are showing some player breaking a record, guess who's chasing him down the field? A bunch of bafoons in purple and white. Never fails. Even as someone who isn't a Vikings fan it is a bit embarrassing after a while Almost as embarrassing as a guy who has over 11,000 posts on a forum with nothing intelligent to say. Bryce
Willie Teal comes to mind in the early 80's. Whose highlight reel didn't include a shot of #37 chasing them to the end zone?
pikestabber
Hmmm... I had thought this was a thread for Bryant McKinnie getting cut, but apparently it has morphed into the new hangout for Packer fans trolling Viking threads (which is strange, because that NEVER happens) In any case, back to the original topic, McKinnie's agent (Rosenhaus) emailed all 32 teams and asked them to consider signing McKinnie for a $2.5 million salary and reasonable incentives. I think it's a mistake all the way around. I couldn't believe my luck when I first heard they cut him. Good riddance for us, but any chance someone else bites on this? And what, for a 400 pound guy, warrants "reasonable incentives?" Don't eat the left guard?
