1977 ford courier!!!

ok...here we go....after 20 yrs away from the family...i found my grandfathers 1977 ford courier by accident....long story short after almost 2yrs of going back and for I BOUGHT IT!!! And i must and could not be happier!!!! My son and I towed it home and now are working on it..... so the problem is...spray gas in the carb (mazda motor) it runs awesome but it is not getting fuel. got it in the garage now, jacked up, and fuel pours out before what appears 2 be an electric fuel pump. we r going to replace all the fuses and see what happens...i think this is going to be a great project for the son and i....it has 21,824 original miles and i have all the paper work....please help

Why not check to see if there is power to the pump first?

Then if t here is not check the fuses to see if they are blown?
