2011 Fish House Build with pics

Just a tip or a heads up for guys building an ice house and thinking of doing it in tongue and groove pine. I check k-bid daily, and every week it seems I see bundles of boards for auction, looks like they go for around couple hundred bucks for roughly 100 to 150 pieces. Only a dollar or two a board, thats a huge savings. Just thought I'ld let people know and not trying to jack the thread.

Counter tops and Dinette are actually 3/4" birch with a dark walnut stain with multiple clear coats.

You obviously put a lot of TLC into that shack. You going to shed tears of pain or joy when that first snot rocket christens that shiny interior with fish slime?

House looks awesome. Like that you put alot of effort into the finishing details. I also have a P.E. house (my 4th) also. Tom and his crew do a good job and are willing to work with to build what you want and need. You will enjoy that house for years to come. Great job!!!!!!!!!

How do you like your interior lights after a year of use?

They have worked out great! I will be using the same ones on next years house. Everyone who saw them in my house thought those lights were awesome.

Any recommendations on spacing? I was thinking of positioning 2 of them every 4', each about 2' in from the sidewalls. That would be 8 of them in a 20' house. Thoughts?

I had 8 in my last house which was only 16' and that was alot of light. I did put small push buttons by each light so you didnt have to use all the lights. I believe you will have more than enough light with them.

Are yours the RLF-SMD series? It looks like they come in 12 or 15 led models and need a 2 1/4" hole.
