Fish House Build Floor and Insulation Help

I am building a 6.5x16+v front fish house and have read this forum up and down and am still undecided.

After putting the plywood floor down do I want to screw 2x4s down and use 2x4s all the way around or should I used 2x2's?

Have you guys made a sub floor with insulation inbetween or do you just insulate the between the trailer frame against the plywood?

How much of a difference will I notice between no insulation, pink foam board, and spray foam?

Thanks everyone for the advice!

Also please read my other post for heater question.

I cant answer the construction question, I bought mine already made.

Definately want spray foam on the walls.

Personally I think floor insulation on a wheel house is a waste.

Mine just has the 3/4" board tacked on top of the frame. After I get set up with the house dropped and banked, I can be walking on my floor bare foot in about an hour or two and not even notice it is cold.

The science behind it is that the pocket of air under your house is warmed and becomes the insulation as long as you have it banked with minimal air leakage.

Not many years ago, we didn't have snow to bank the houses up tight. There seem like 4 or 5 years I had to haul snow from shore to bank, thats when I decided it was time to spray foam the floors. You don't need to fill it from the plywood down to the bottom of the frame, just an inch or so.

When I built mine, I did the sandwich floor. Layer of plywood, layer of pink foam board and another layer of plywood. Never have a problem with the floor being cold on those -25 degree nights.

Used steel drywall studs to frame the house. There is a lot of debate about these, but they worked well. The siding was all done with aluminum, then had the walls and roof done with spray foam. Not only does the spray foam keep the house very warm, it also firms up the walls and roof.
