Flooding In NE Iowa

Recommended Posts

The Missouri River on the western edge of the state has been on the rampage this spring--now up to 10" of rain fell in parts of Dubuque County last night. Jones County got hit hard as well: http://www.weather.com/outlook/weather-news/news/articles/iowa-flooding_2011-07-28

I went outside in Coralville about 10:30 last night, and there was non-stop lightning far to the north. That was apparently was the cell that drenched Dubuque. Having gone through the floods of 2008 here, I know that isn't fun. mad
