I just read on Fox Sports that there is a huge trade happening right now. Everyone is going everywhere. The unconfirmed part is that the Twins are getting Derek Lowe for Doug M. Don't know about the rest of you out there, but if this trade actually happens I say it's good for the Twins. What you the rest of ya think?

Ok, I jumped the gun. We ended up with minor league pitcher Justin Jones. I never heard of the guy.

I haven't found anything on Jones either...I am going to presume that he is either very, very good, or the Twins have another move yet to make (after clearing up some salary room by moving Mientkiewicz).

Justin Jones is from the Cubs system, and is currently (until the trade, anyway) at Class A Lansing. He has 64.3 Innings over 14 games this year. He is 3-3 with a 3.78 ERA; he has given up 62 hits and 22 walks in those 64.3 innings, and he has 59 strikeouts. Decent numbers…good K/BB ratio, K/IP ratio, and hits per inning ratio.
