I've got a buddy who's looking at a boat and motor that's for sale from a private party near him. The boat is a 2006 Yarcraft 1785 DC with a 2008 115 four stroke Yammy on it. It's got a kicker, trolling motor, and decent electronics on it. Can anyone say anything about that boat/motor to help him with the decision? Any info on that rig would be appreciated. Generaly info on that model Yarcraft definitely would be helpful- good or bad!

motor sounds good. but always gotta ask the question, especially on such a new rig, why is the motor newer then the boat itself? On paper, the rig sounds good, but a thorough inspection and test run is a must. Check for any boards rotting, etc.
