$900.00 in labor cost reasonable for installing 300 sf of bamboo flooring and tearing up the old carpet and pad. Installing in a small entry with closet and into a kitchen then around an island and up a hallway. That's about $3.00 s.f is that about the general rate?

If its an engineered plank product its pretty reasonable.

Make sure you research the quality of the bamboo floor. We did a solid one that I installed with a wood flooring nailer but it is so soft the doge really did a number on it. It was a less expensive floor my wife ordered from Home defect.

The price sounds fair but the real question is the quality of work the installer does.

Yup that is very reasonable. Ive charged more to do them. It is pretty easy to do. Is it snap together or is it glue together?

it's 5/8" solid , not a laminated veneer. installation is glued, nailed or stapled. thanks for the info guys!
