One Of My Fave Lakes Has Minnimal Rocks And Lots Of Cabbage And Weed Beds .. I Have Had Them Before But Lost Them Some Where In My Boxes Of Fishing Stuff ..

In regard to sinkers. I have used a method used by Steelhead Fisherman that works. Simply tie your leader to a swivel-whatever length you need. Then take a second swivel and tie a piece of mono about 6-10 inches on one side. Slip the other side over your main line and then tie the main line to the leader swivel. Add split shot to the non-leader, free-floating piece of 6-10 inch mono. On rocks this works well, sort of a Lindy Rig that allows you to feed line with a bite. If you become snagged usually the split shot will come off. In weeds it is less effective as most have expressed here.

Down side is that you do add lead to the environment if snagged. But, if you get truly stuck with any such rig you also add lead. However, I really do not lose many shot.

R U talking about the Lindy Snagless sinkers? They are spendy. I don't think anything is really weedless, more like weed resistant. Cabbage is pretty soft like Milfoil. Maybe a larger bullet sinker would be better?

The No-Snagg sinkers Lindy makes work great when the fish are in the rocks, provided you know how to fish them. Expensive? not really when you think of how many spinners and sinker setups you can save just by fishing them properly. Here is a short video Lindy has aboot how to fish them in the rocks:
