I've got some of my trails planted in clover (alcite/white) they grow just fine. I fertilized them this spring, you should have seen the thistles grow. One mowing seems to have really knocked those back though & the clover's coming thicker than ever. The little buck we dubbed as Jasper has been in the one on the field edge a lot. We can see him from the house if we look close, it's a touch over 300 yards.
