Leech Bedding? Does it no longer exist?

I like to use the leech bedding (Frabill)when fishing up in the BWCA, but I can't find it anywhere this year. Did they quit making it? I really liked it--much less hassle than traditional water buckets when portaging. If it no longer exists, can I just take worm bedding and add more water than called for? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Everywhere I've seen says its sold out, and frabill doesn't have it on their site anymore.

Could try contacting:

TBK Manufacturing of Wisconsin LLC.

PO Box 12

109 Luepke Way

Medford, WI 54451

(715) 748-5610

I think they might have made it for frabill.

Otherwise, try putting them in something like a peanut butter jar (plastic) for the portage in, then if your basecamping, poke holes in the jar and keep them in the lake. If traveling throughout the trip, maybe bring 2 lids, one with small holes in it, one that is solid.

I put them in an old thermos and it worked well cause it didn't overheat. Only problem was that not all came out and it got a bit ripe after a couple of days on the counter at the basecamp.
