question on lowrance....

My father in law is in the market for a new lowrance. I have an X15. He basically wants something similar but in color. Well I've been looking online tonight and can't find a graph with a 7" screen for under $1,000. All I can find is HD and such. I have to be missing something. Can anyone suggest a model? 7" color with split screen is what he's looking for.

how it compares to the x-15 I'm not sure.

If your FIL wants to step down in screen size and/or price, there is the HDS-5, but also other options like the Elite 5 and the Elite 5 DSI. But the Elites are only available in a 5" screen .......
