2006 polaris stuck in 4x4

Anyone have a fix for this other than taking it in

is it just one wheel or both? hard to diagnose with out more info

when was the last time the you changed the hub fluid? I would try to drain and refill might

have to do a couple flushes

sometimes you also have to drive in reverse for a bit and see if it dis-engages but thats just another indicator to make sure you are doing the routine service to the hubs.

Does the 4x4 indicator stay on or does it go off with the switch? (while it stays in 4wd)

Could be a bad or wet switch if the indicator stays lit all the time even when switched off.

indicator light goes out with switch,both wheels, and I did change fluid with only one flush- still stuck. I dont mind the harder steering but it's my wifes ride.
