Looking to go to SD this October for a whitetail hunt, but really don't have any idea of the better regions of the state to start looking. I'm sure there's decent hunting opportunities throughout, and there's so much public land(The SDGFP has a great HSOforum for searching public land) , it's a little overwhelming. Any suggestions? Counties? N, S, E, or W? Thanks!
