iceman2010
I have been thinking about getting my gsp trained, but I couldn't find much info on this operation other than their HSOforum. Just wondering if anyone knows much about them, or has used them. They are out of Emerado ND.
Brad N
I had Wild Spur train both of my GSP's. I thought they did a great job. both of my dogs were about a year old when I took them there. Let me know if you have any more questions, i might be able to answer them.Brad
iceman2010
Hey Brad, I ended up sending my gsp there, who is also now a year old. Tony told me to expect about two months of training, is that what it took your dogs? Was there anything you were disappointed with, or overly happy with? Brad N
Our first one took 2 months, but our second tooks 3 months. The second was a little slower (mentally) and Tony force broke her. Even though they have different personalities, they both are bird pointing machines!!! The older one will not retreive a bird, but the ones that was broke will retreive to hand.I live in Grand Forks, so it was only a 20 minute drive out to their kennels for a visit every other week. No disappointments.Brad
iceman2010
Were you able to start visiting your dogs right away? I was told to wait the first month.. Thanks a lot for your input! I can't wait to have her back and experience the results!
