ultimate eye rod?

If money was not an issue, what would you say would be the ultimate walleye rod as far as brand, length, type of tip, etc.

I don't think there is one particular rod that will do all perfectly, you'll need about a half dozen or so different actions and lengths to cover the variety of baits/techniques and situations you would encounter.

If you could only have 1 rod I'd think that a 6 foot 6 inch medium action spinrod would be about the most versatile???

If I had to pick one I would choose a 7 foot St.Croix Legend. Like fisky said, too many variables but a 6'6-7'0 foot medium action Legend would be tough to beat.

Sage IM6 med action 8 ft fast tip with a straight cork handle (so you tape your reel on) 8ft=away from the boat, reach back for snaggs easier. cork=better feel, less loss thru the reel seat. wanna know about guides too? U R making me drool....
