Well I go to school in South Dakota so going to the glacial lakes for a few days here last week was like coming home again. Anyway a group of us came out from MN and met up with some SD buddies for a few days of fishing. Fishign was excellent. We mostly pulled cranks and boards on breaklines in 8-14 fow. Also when the wind blew we were able to catch some fish as shallow as 4 fow. Walleyes were plentiful from 14-22 inches as well as pike biting on about everything we through with bigger storm swimshads and big northland mimic minnows working well for pike. Crappies bit well on small baits up shallow. Love hitting this area of the state, and wish I had more time to hit some new lakes or brush up on some old haunts. will see what July brings.
