I know we're the land of 10,000 lakes, and that we actually have more than that. I just assumed most, if not all of them, were fishable.

But I was on the DNR HSOforum yesterday and saw that little nugget. Who knows when you might need that information to win a bet...

Aren't ALL lakes fishable? I mean, to be honest, I'm not going to have terribly different results if there aren't any fish in the lake anyway.

I hear ya Too Tall. I tend to tell folks I'm going casting, not fishing, as fishing implies I actually catch something.

Any idea of how many of the 5493 you have fished in your life? I don't keep a written record but just tried to make a list. I would guess somewhere around 50 or so for me. I've got a lot of new water I need to cover
