Where to buy roll of 22ga 4 conductor solid wire?

Recommended Posts

What you want is called Belden cable. You can use larger gage, like 22 if that is all you can find. It's not hard to locate as any big box home improvement store should have it. Tell them you want 22-4 or 24-4 Belden cable and they should be able to help you. Do you need shielded or non shielded? If you need shielded and don't use it you will get RF interfierence and it may cause problems with the system.

NON shielded. Thanks. I will try and find the belden at the big box stores.

I picked up a 500' roll of "firewire" off the 'bay a couple years ago when I did my house. It's 18gax4. This type of wire is designated for running smoke/heat detectors and to run to all the keypads.

How much do you need? I don't suspect my roll is going to get any more use by me and there's 300+ ft left.

Looking for about 200ft. Send me a price in a private message (go to your profile, click "Send a private message" using the link on the right side middle of the screen)

Thanks
