Boat launches - the other side

If your backing in far enough to drop your trailer into or off of the concrete, you've either got a very big boat or you don't have clue what your doing at the ramp. That said, during times of low water i'v had to back in quite a ways and that hole actually helped get my trailer deep enough. I just gently eased the trailer back up onto the ramp and I was golden. The only way I can see breaking an axel or bending a rim is if your giving her h e double hockysticks to get back up. At a crazy landing I'v power loaded and watched two others power load from the same side as me all while two guys were at the other ramp fighting with a medium sized boat in the wind.

I think there are alot of people out there that don't powerload because their unsure of what might happen if they try it

When I powerload it's just one quick little goose of the throttle and it's right up to the stopper.

Learn how far to back your trailer in, too shallow = to much throttle, too deep = crooked every time find that happy spot coast up, let the boat center, give one quick goose of the throttle, shut the motor off, climb onto the trailer hook your strap and chain, and pull out of the way, It takes less than a minute, it actually takes longer to walk to the truck.

I have two 20 foot glass rigs on is a rienell water ski boat and it has a warning on the the tailer tongue not to power load it can cause damage or injury had it 6 years and always power loaded it carefully I also have a 194 champion fish hunter and power load that. most people are very carefull when they load everyone here keeps talking about the landings but I can assure you that most people with a big exspensive rig are very carefull you can damage your boat really fast the bunks are just put on with a couple of lag bolts I dont think it would take to much to tear them off
