GPS info from digital camera?

Pretty much only for cell phones. Some cameras have a gps in them or have the add-on capabilities, but most cameras don't have them. You do have the option to turn it off on all of them though.

It is basically Geotagging the photo and then you can gain the GPS info when you download it to the photo processing utility or on-line like in Google Photo, Google Earth, or Picasa 3.

Some phones and some newer cameras do it, and GPS camera combo units like the Garmin Oregon 550 and the new Garmin Montana can do this. The most seamless and accurate are the Garmin GPS units capable of this. True GPS phones will get it fairly accurate too.

You can also take photo's and add them to your Google Maps at a known GPS location you select and then it will code that GPS info into the photo's properties, adding it to it after the fact.
