Help needed w/ MN resort options for 4th of July...

Hello all!

Lurk quite a bit around here but don't post often enough. Anyways, I didn't see a dedicated forum for this type of question but this forum had a ton of posts so I figure I'll post it in here.

I am looking for a resort to stay at over the 4th of July (1st, 2nd and 3rd) w/ my gf and a few other friends (less than 6 or so people). We are looking for a decent sized lake w/ good walleye and general fishing, along with recreation within reasonable distance (Zorbaz type restaurants, we are all in our early 20's). Recreation/nightlife isn't as important as fishing quality/location. A detached cabin style housing is preferred w/ a budget of $150-300 per night. We are from the Fargo, ND area, so within 4-5 or so hrs of there is preferred (flexible). We will be bringing a boat or two with us fwiw. We are novice fisherman so an easier lake to fish w/ good population is preferred.

Can anyone make any suggestion for resorts to stay at, reasonably priced w/ the provided search details?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Similarly, would click on the Alexandria Area add on the side tool bars. You will have around 50 resorts to choose from, close to home, great choice of great lakes, some "zorbas" type options, a winery and shopping for the ladies. Narrow down a short list of potential resorts and throw up a post in the alex forum to confirm your lake has what you are wanting. Good luck and have fun!
