I was curious if anyone has tried Trout here? Are there any good access points? I'm new to fishing that area and would like any help possible. Not looking for gps coords just where I can gain access without any problems.

Not worth your time to go there if you are trying for trout. Trout used to be stocked in the Briggs Creek and I believe the Snake River, but none have been stocked in a very long time due to these streams getting too warm in the summer and having limited habitat, more so in recent years, that are not allowing trout to survive throughout the streams. The DNR says that both streams would need quite a bit of work to actually have a fishable trout population.

Thanks Scudly,

[PoorWordUsage] map out for weeks, but without good intel on the creeks I'd be wasting a lot of time.

I've dug deeper into the dnr HSOforum and am finding what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the help.
