I am looking at buying a 998SI. Can I move my waypoints and icons from my eagle to a pc and than save them in a format that will allow me to move them to a HB unit?

If you can download the wpts on an SD card,(card slot / reader) you should be good. Store them on the card, get the 'bird, get Humminbird PC loaded on your computer (get that with the 998), and follow the directions. There's also some easy to follow (I did it, so anyone can) you-tube videos that go step by step. I transferred all my LCX and H20 (not eagle, but same thing) to my 998, and Interlinked to my 858 up front. Good luck...

I used a program called Expert GPS to transfer garmin waypoint to lowrance and it worked great. I would assume there are others that would allow you to do the same. I think it was about $50 and it is downloadable. Has alot of other functions also and may be an option for you. Googleit and see if it will work for you.
