I will be giving my presentation called "Trout Don't Live In Ugly Places" to the Biology Classes at Richland Center High. My presentation is about an hour long and it shows all the beautiful places that trout live. There are also some spiders, snakes, turtles, and wildflowers mixed in. Of course some good old fashion "Fish Tales" will be included.

The next scheduled presentation is not until February at the Madison Fishing Expo.

Len, if everybody that works in the media posted their appearances HSO would be a boring place.

I myself make about 20 media appearances across the country a year, and have spoken at class rooms to show pictures of the fish I catch, the people I fish with, and what it's like to be a professional in the fishing industry; and know a couple dozen HSO members that do as well.

I've spoken at Viterbo, UWL, WWTC, and Globe University as well, but never posted it in one single forum; let alone 20.

I live by a saying: "a good deed that needs an announcement isn't that good of a deed".

I love it when kids see the wonders of what lives in the streams.

From beautiful trout to angry snapping turtles.

I cover how to clean a trout to responsible harvest.

Worms/spinners/plugs/flies are covered.

Teachers win because they don't have to cover boring material for a day

Students win because they dont have to sit through boring material (well sort of)

The Seneca kids still send me notes from time to time.

I am set up to take 3 of them and their parents fishing in 2012.

Two of the Seneca teachers I went to high school with say the kids talk about the beautiful places at least once a week.

Isn't this the second time you have spoken at the "biggest" fishing show

in Wisconsin?  Congrats on the sweet gig.
