Spaghetti Dinner Benefit For Daniel Quirk

Date: Saturday, April 30, 2011

Location: Jam’s

200 Central Avenue, Nashwauk, Mn.

Time: 4 to 7 p.m.

Cost: $7 for adults

$4 for children 12 and under

Dinner includes spaghetti, bread, and coleslaw. Take out will be available.

There will be a silent auction and raffles. After dinner, there will be entertainment.

Dan was diagnosed with thymoma, a rare cancer of the thymus gland in 2008. This cancer has led to numerous health issues.

He has been traveling to Duluth and Rochester for treatments. The benefit

will help offset medical expenses.

Dan is a 1970 graduate of Chisholm High School, a member of St. Cecilia's

Church, and a member of IBEW Local 294. He and his wife, Diane, live in Nashwauk. They have three daughters, Jami Gauthier, Melissa Cox & Wendy Schroeder, and a grandson, Jayden.
