FM_Mike
Will a 9.9 pro kicker keep a starting battery charged. It has a 6 amp output but I think that at WOT. I will use it to troll all day and have the usual items hooked up to the battery. Thanks, Mike
morepower02
I have a lot of guys out there trolling with that engine all day and have never had a battery charging complaint yet. So In my opinion you should be fine with that set up, but I would reccomend a heavy duty starting battery.

PerchJerker
Will a 9.9 pro kicker keep a starting battery charged. Yes, it definately will. I do a lot of trolling with my Pro Kicker, and run all kinds of accessories like running lights, interior lights at times, stereo, livewell pumps, 3 or 4 electronic screens, cell phone plugged into the DC outlet, etc. I monitor battery voltage and it's usually up in the 13.5 or 13.6 range after my kicker has been running for a while. My main outboard turns over with no hesitation at all, and the boat / electronic lights don't even flicker. It's awesome!
