Grass Seed and the upcoming snow

So i jsut planted grass seed yesterday and low and behold the forecast has changed from rain to snow, 1-3". IS it just my luck or will the grass seed prevail?

It will be fine. Don't lose any sleep over it. You will be putting down more after it grows anyway. Most like you will top dress areas several times this summer.

The best thing that could happen for the seed would be 1-3" of snow. As the snow melts, it'll push the seed farther into the dirt, all the while supply great amounts of moisture.
