new battery?

Ok figure out that i had a loose connection on my main battery that was giving me problems with my depth finder . Now found out that my trolling battery is shot. My question is which battery to get for it as in make? I am just running a regular 12 volt system.

Pretty tough to beat Interstates, group 27 will fit the bill well, even a 31 if you have the room. No such thing as to much battery.

What and how are you using your trolling motor? I pretty much ONLY use a trolling motor and Have had great luck with the big c agm 27 series battery.

My 'ol man barely uses his and gets by with a cheap FF battery and he's never had problems.

If you use it alot and need to go 8-12 hours straight or even a fully wknd, then I'd go a spend alot on a good battery and onboard charger. If you don't use it alot, go with the cheap ones..there fine enough for alot of people who occasionally use them.
