new Bait Bucket regulation

i work directly with the new rule and the live bait end of things.the special interest groups that are pushing the bait industry out are, believe it or not, duck organizations.true fact!!the invasive rules are very strict on harvesting bait from infested waters, with many steps to make sure there is no transfer of invasives.however what steps are being done to keep anchor ropes free of tiny imature invasives along with fishing reels caked with spiny water fleas,or how about duck decoys and decoy cords?this all falls on deaf ears.when spiny water fles infest a water body,it gets a season from may 16 to oct 31 that is closed to bait harvest.eventually there will be no summer live minnows or leeches.talk about economic crashes for the tourist towns! you as fishermen need to voice your concerns to the legislators.imported live bait however is a good thing[very strict rule to follow]
