Looking for a beagle pup with strong - extreme hunt. Are there any breeders in the MN area that have strong hunting beagles, not looking for a show quality dog, just dogs that are great hunters. Does anyone know anything about Double Trouble Kennels or River Bottom Beagles in MN?

River Bottom would be a great choice. I know Tom and no one hunts their beagles any harder than he does. I don't think we are allowed to post direct links on here but you may want to try "The Hunted Hare" Forum. Lots of good hard hare hunters post there. I'm sure you can find a good pup from one of those guys and more advice than you could ask for.

There's a guy here in Jordan that we got our Beagle from. I think I still have his contact info. Feel freel to PM me and I'll try to get that to you.

We didn't get ours for hunting, but he had many champion ribbons and trophies all over the place and a 5 acre course set up in his back woods.
