Selling Utility Trailer

I am selling my home made utility trailer. It has a life time license. What do I need to do to transfer title? Sunday and DMV is closed.

Lifetime license is not as title, all you need to sign is the card you have and a bill of sale.

If you have a title you have to fill up the front, the middle left section where it says Seller name, Seller address and Seller signature. Then fill the detachable bottom portion with buyer info and keep it for you.

You don't need DMV to sell your trailer, be sure you get a bill of sale and receipt signed from buyer, that confirms the date.

The permanent registration on the trailer is in your name. A bill of sale to the buyer and they take it in to a deputy registrar or dmv office and pay a small fee to have the registration changed to their name.
