With next years hard water season less than 40 weeks away we decided to start getting ready for it. We are in the process of making some changes to our units. We also decided to scrap our old 6 man units and replace them with some new units. The units are 10x28 and we started working on them this weekend and the wife said don't you think that's a little extreme. So we are calling them the Extreme 6 man and I even had a guy ask if we were building an ice fishing Ark. Ok they maybe big but they will be easier to move and if a guy is going to make some changes for the mobility why stop there.

Bill and I have been busy bidding construction projects and look forward to getting some fishing in this spring and some extra hunting time this fall so we decided to get going on the new units. With the cabin being twenty minutes from home now it will be a little distracting this summer. We will post some pics as we build them.
