Mallard Lake near Webster

Staying here a couple nights in late May, how is the bass/northern fishing? I want to take my 5 year old out casting. Any info on this lake would be great, Thank You!

I haven't fished the lake in over 15 years. So things could have very well changed since then. I only fished it a couple of times. But it's a nice lake. Small lake, clear water, good bass population. Although we didn't get anything really big, the bass were easy to come by. I can't recall how we did on the pike. But we got a bunch of bass. Put on a spinnerbait casting the shallows and you should be able to get some good action for your 5 year old without much problem.

Really not a great lake for big fish, but plentiful. Although like the other guy, its been years since Ive been there. Im sure its a good blue gill lake though!
