What's it worth?

Looking at an Alumacraft V16 w/ Honda 40 hp (electric tilt/trim and electric start) and trailer. No extras - electronics, trolling motor, etc. All purchased new in 2001 for $7400, has 25-50 hours and in mint condition.

Found a few other similar in some respects boats on HSO-Classifieds @ 4 to 5K.

I would say 6K would be a good starting point- after you use it for a couple of years ,it will be a 13 year old rig.Taking the usual 15% hit from new puts you at 6290.(I like Honda)

I would say $6000 is on the steep side. I would offer about $5000 and go from there. Especially with no bowmount or electronics.

I just did a quick add up and you could put 2,000 in to a electric motor and finders.

yeah, you never get the full value just because something has low hours. It's still 10 years old. 5,000 sounds closer.
